Concrete Batch Plant Operator

We are looking for Concrete Batch Plant Operator to manage the plant that will be based in Ruangwa, Lindi. Candidates with the right experience are encouraged to apply to this role.Responsibilities:Mix concrete for all production areasOil, clean and prepare mixer according to work instructions and SOPInspect and adjust all working parts in batch plantMonitor raw materials to insure proper utilization and inventory levelsParticipates in ongoing minor and preventative maintenance and visual evaluations of plant and equipment to keep batch plant cleanInventory and maintain accurate records of all parts and provide notification when orders are neededMonitor concrete temperature in cold and hot weather months and understanding the changes that need to be made to concrete for eachConfer with supervisory personnel to resolve problems, provide immediate feedback, and recommend solutions to improve performanceEnsure established performance indicators are metAlways adhere to OSHA rules and regulationsOther Qualifications:Prior experience in operating a Concrete Batch PlantAbility to read and interpret production drawingsComputer knowledge; including applicable Microsoft and batch house softwareMechanical knowledgeWorking knowledge of plant maintenance proceduresKnowledge of concrete fundamentalsWorking knowledge of OSHA regulationsExperience in mixing concrete or ready mixExperience with construction materialsMaintenance experienceAbility to write routine reports and correspondence
